CPL Stats – Dasun Shanaka makes fastest century, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots have biggest win

The previous high was Trinbago Knight Riders’ 133-run win over Barbados Royals in the 2023 CPL.
281.39 – Shanaka’s strike rate per innings is 121* – the highest in a century in the Premier League. This improved upon Hetmyer’s batting average of 258.13 in 111 matches for the unbeaten Knight Riders earlier in the season.
Glenn Maxwell, with six hundreds, is ahead of Shanaka at the table, while David Miller and Suryakumar Yadav also have four hundreds from those positions.
9.3 – The point at which Shanaka got out before scoring 121* in 43 balls. This is the century maker’s latest entry point into the CPL. Before that, Andre Russell’s record was 9.2 kills against the Knight Raiders in the 2016 playoff finals.
As wicket fall information is available in all T20s, Shanaka’s entry point is at least six. Scott Styris hit a 37-ball 100 after coming on at 11.3 for Sussex against Gloucestershire in 2012 – and this is the century-maker’s most recent entry point in T20s where information is available.
9 – Shanaka has struck six runs in the last four overs of a Patriots innings – a joint-high in the last four overs of a T20 innings where ball-by-ball information is available.
