Toxic movie box office collection | Yash-starrer ‘Toxic’ registers lowest single-day collection at box office on Day 8

Yash-starrer Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups registered its
lowest single-day collection at the box office on its eighth day in theatres,
according to industry tracker Sacnilk.

The action thriller collected Rs 101.10 crore nett on its opening day,
followed by a steep drop to Rs 37.65 crore nett on the second day. The
collections further dropped to Rs 26.60 crore nett on the third day. Day 4
added Rs 24.50 crore nett to the earnings.

The film earned Rs 23 crore nett on the fifth day, followed by Rs 7.65
crore nett on Day 6. The collections improved marginally to Rs 7.85 crore nett
on the seventh day, before dropping to Rs 5.10 crore nett on Day 8.

The Yash-starrer has recorded a seven-day nett collection of Rs 223.70
crore in India.

Globally, Toxic has collected Rs 322 crore gross, comprising Rs
280.25 crore gross from the Indian box office and Rs 41.75 crore gross from
overseas markets.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic also stars Nayanthara, Kiara
Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria in key roles. The film
was released in theatres in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and
English to largely negative word-of-mouth reviews.
