England have left fast bowler Brydon Carse out of their squad for the third and final Test against Pakistan at Edgbaston, the England and Wales Cricket Board said on Wednesday.

The 31-year-old Kars missed the second Test after He was arrested after an accident Outside Derby nightclub.

British media reported that he was still under investigation by Derbyshire Police.

Sonny Becker keeps his place

Kars’ replacement, 23-year-old Sonny Baker, retained his place in the team after England secured an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series by crushing Pakistan by an innings and 103 runs at Headingley and by 194 runs at Lord’s.

England are aiming for a series sweep in the final Test starting next Wednesday.
