The black hole at the center of the Milky Way may be stormy


What’s the story?
Astronomers have discovered evidence of cosmic winds emanating from Sagittarius A*, a massive planet Black hole In our midst milky way. The result was published in Astrophysical Journal LettersIt could explain why this black hole has remained so quiet for more than five decades. The study was led by Mark Gorsky, an assistant professor of research at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and Lena Morchikova, an assistant professor of physics and astronomy at Northwestern University.
