New Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift Reach Showrooms

Some would say Toyota Innova Crysta is at the fag end of its lifecycle as the company needs to make advances to achieve better CAFE 3 scores. However, the demand for Innova Crysta continue to sore, despite its pricing strategy and lack of flashy features. An unexpected facelift for Innova Crysta was launched recently and units have started to arrive at dealerships.
New Innova Crysta Facelift
In two separate videos by MotoRush Tamil, we can see a detailed walkaround of both base GX+ and top ZX variants. When we say base, we mean base for private buyers as there is an even lower-spec trim called GX positioned below GX+ for fleet buyers priced from Rs 19.72 lakh, while GX+ starts from Rs 21.15 lakh, VX from Rs 24.93 lakh and ZX with its sole 7S variant priced at Rs 26.63 lakh (all prices Ex-sh).

Innova Crysta is popular with both fleet operators and commercial users along with private buyers. Despite its age, premium pricing and lack of equipment, Innova Crysta is seen as a beacon of simplicity, reliability and dependability along with rugged mechanicals. The old-school ladder-frame chassis, Diesel Manual powertrain and RWD drivetrain combination has become a rarity.
Base GX+ Variant Walkaround
The base GX+ variant priced at Rs 21.15 lakh (Ex-sh) and it comes with all the facelift elements offered with MY26 version. These include the new grille and bumper. The surround around the grille gets a silver finish and lower bumper gets highlights too, which the predecessor did not. Wheels are still 16-inchers and there are no fog lights.

Headlights are fully reflector based with a multi-barrel setup and then we also get auto-folding ORVMs with LED turn indicators right from the base variant. Rear washer and wiper, rear parking sensors, reversing camera and other features are also standard and can be seen with base GX+ as well. Dual-channel dashcam is present, but rear defogger is missing, though.
On the inside, 2026 Innova Crysta GX+ gets fabric seats, manually height adjustable driver’s seat which GX does not get, tilt and telescopic steering, a small touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, manual AC, steering mounted audio controls, manually dimming IRVM, a basic instrument cluster, roof-mounted rear AC vents, hard plastic front armrest, auto up/down driver’s window and more.
New Grace Copper elements with facelift are limited in GX+ and can be seen on steering wheel and centre console, while dashboard and door trims get fake wood trims. Eco and Pwr drive modes, USB ports, under-floor spare wheel and other features are present. But airbags are just 3 in number even at Rs 21.15 lakh (Ex-sh).

Top-spec ZX Variant Walkaround
Crysta’s trim lineup ends with ZX and this variant and gets everything Toyota is offering this old-school MPV, which is not generous in any way. Total airbags are now 7, we get projector and reflector combi headlight setup, fog lights, chrome surround around the grille, larger 17-inch alloy wheels, rear defogger and more chrome highlights for premium appeal.
On the inside, we get powered driver’s seat, soft-touch elements, leatherette seat upholstery, auto climate control, rear climate zone element on the roof with ambient lighting, cup holders for 2nd row, tray table for 2nd row, manual boss mode feature, more Grace Copper elements on dash and door trims, TPMS, wireless charging pad, cruise control, fancier instrument cluster with an MID, all four auto up/down windows and more.
