Leak: Motorola Edge 70 Max charges its 7,100 mAh battery magnetically and features Extreme AMOLED

The specifications already known suggest that the Motorola Edge 70 Max will be offered as an alternative to the Motorola Edge 70 ($529 on Amazon) for customers who prioritize performance and battery capacity over thickness. The cameras might make a compromise, as the Edge 70 Max is likely to lack a telephoto camera. The images suggest it will feature a 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony Lytia sensor, as well as an ultra-wide-angle camera.

The most exciting feature of the Motorola Edge 70 Max, however, is that the smartphone supports Qi2, including magnetic accessories. The device is waterproof and certified to the MIL-STD-810H standard, so it should be relatively rugged. While Motorola hasn’t yet confirmed the launch date, more details are likely to be revealed in the coming days, as Motorola has already kicked off its teaser campaign.
