Antonio Rudiger was reportedly ready to retire from international football following Germany’s World Cup defeat to Paraguay. However, Jurgen Klopp’s appointment has given the experienced defender a new reason to reconsider his future with the national team.

Antonio Rudiger can still continue his international career after Jurgen Klopp was appointed Germany coach.

according to Sports photothe veteran defender said to his teammates in the locker room immediately after Germany’s World Cup defeat to Paraguay He intends to retire of international football.

However, the report suggests that Klopp’s arrival has changed the situation. Rudiger has now left the door open for him to remain available for selection under the new Germany coach.

The 33-year-old has been a key figure in the national team for nearly a decade, earning more than 80 caps and featuring in numerous major tournaments.
