Kim Mu-yeol stars as Song Eo-jin, a calculating and hyper-analytical employee of the Grid Management Bureau. He becomes embroiled in the search for “The Ghost”—the mysterious figure who saved humanity by creating the Grid and then vanished for 24 years, only to unexpectedly reappear to rescue a serial killer.
Like many memorable Kim Mu-yeol characters, Song Eo-jin is intelligent, emotionally restrained and driven by an unwavering need to uncover the truth. The role plays to the actor’s strengths, allowing him to portray a calm, inscrutable figure whose emotions remain carefully hidden beneath the surface. As the mystery deepens, however, he is also given the opportunity to reveal Eo-jin’s vulnerability, making Grid one of the more intriguing Kim Mu-yeol K-dramas for fans of science fiction and mystery.
