Josh Hazlewood joins Australia’s 300-wicket club for Darwin’s match against Bangladesh

In any other scenario, this would have been a moment that required a more significant celebration. Because it was an important milestone. Josh Hazlewood had just taken his 300th Test wicket. This meant that for the first time in Test history, the team was playing with a quartet of bowlers, each of whom had more than 300 Test victims. An ode to the longevity and teamwork of a first-ballot Hall of Fame bowling attack. And also, to the resilience of Hazlewood himself in being able to come back from so many different injuries, without ever losing his drive to succeed at Test level despite the setbacks.
