GTA VI pre-orders open June 25 as Rockstar unveils official cover art – Indian Television Dot Com

MUMBAI: The internet’s most anticipated getaway to Vice City just took a major step closer to reality. Rockstar Games has officially confirmed that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will begin on June 25, while simultaneously unveiling the game’s long-awaited official cover art. The announcement marks the start of what is expected to be one of the biggest video game marketing campaigns in history.

Players can already add the title to their wishlists on digital storefronts, ensuring they receive notifications once pre-orders go live. However, Rockstar has kept several key details under wraps, including pricing and potential special or collector’s editions. Those details are expected to be revealed when the pre-order window opens.
The newly revealed artwork stays true to the franchise’s iconic collage-style cover design while embracing the neon-soaked colours and tropical atmosphere of Vice City and the fictional state of Leonida. The centrepiece is the game’s criminal duo, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, whose Bonnie-and-Clyde-inspired relationship forms the backbone of the story.

The artwork also offers glimpses of supporting characters including Boobie Ike and veteran bank robber Raul Bautista, alongside the series’ trademark chaos of sports cars, helicopters, boats, police pursuits and even a distinctly Florida-style alligator.
Alongside the pre-order announcement, Rockstar and parent company Take-Two Interactive reaffirmed that the game remains on track for its global launch on November 19, 2026. At release, GTA VI will be available exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with no PC version announced for the initial launch window.

The confirmation has also eased lingering concerns about another delay. Industry observers view the opening of pre-orders as one of the strongest indicators yet that Rockstar is confident about meeting its release target.

With pre-orders now days away and the cover art finally public, attention is quickly shifting to what comes next. Fans are widely expecting Rockstar to follow up with a third trailer or a deeper gameplay showcase as the countdown to gaming’s most anticipated launch enters its final stretch.
