German players are terrified of the poisonous snake


North Carolina isn’t quite Australia, but there are still creatures that can make you feel a little uncomfortable – just ask the German national teams.

Bayern Munich star and Germany captain Joshua Kimmich said the team saw a venomous snake around base camp in Winston-Salem on Monday.

“We saw a snake yesterday, we were told it was poisonous,” Kimmich said. “If you get bitten, you should go to hospital. I don’t think you will die, but it is definitely dangerous. I have a feeling that if you run over a snake like that, it could end badly. That’s why we try to keep our distance from the animals here. I respect the people here. In Germany, I have a feeling that there are not many dangerous animals.” @iMiaSanMia).
