Akanksha Chamola’s Shocking Divorce Revelation
During the premiere of Lock Upp 2, Akanksha revealed that she and Gaurav Khanna have decided to part ways and are heading for divorce after being married for nine years. She shared that the two have been living separately for the past one year, but had kept the matter private until now.
She revealed that no one knows about their decision yet, and clarified that there is no bitterness between her and Gaurav. She said that things have not turned ugly between them and that they continue to speak to each other. However, over time, they realised that they may not be right for each other as life partners.
“There is nothing bad between Gaurav and me. We still talk to each other, but we feel that we are not right for each other as partners. That is because we both want different things in life,” she said.
Later, another deeply personal aspect of her life came into the spotlight after fellow contestant Shreya Kalra disclosed that Akanksha is bisexual. During the weekend episode, she spoke candidly about her sexuality, sharing that she has always found comfort in feminine energy and revealing that she had been in a few same-sex relationships before marrying Gaurav. She explained, “Main shaadi se pehle bisexual thi. Mere relations rahey hain kuch ladkiyo ke saath. Bohot zyaada intimate relations nahi rahe hain but I have been in relations with a few females.”
