Babar reveals the extent of Masoud’s injury after the West Indies loss ICC World Test Championship

Babar was questioned about Masood dropping the order after the match and the Pakistan captain said that the left-hander suffered a fracture in his finger.

Babar confirmed: “Yes, Shan Masood’s injury affected us, because unfortunately his finger is broken, so we definitely missed him.”

“At the same time, when you face the new ball, you have to survive the first 20 overs, build partnerships, and then, as the ball gets older, the pitch gets easier. We couldn’t put those partnerships together.”
