New Citroen e-C3X Launch Price Rs 10.25 L

Citroen India has launched the updated e-C3X electric with a new Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership model. With this approach, customers can purchase the vehicle at a lower upfront cost while paying separately for battery usage through a subscription plan.
Prices for the new Citroen e-C3X start from Rs 10.25 lakh, while the BaaS option reduces the initial vehicle price to Rs 6.89 lakh, along with a battery usage charge of Rs 2.26 per km. Bookings for the new e-C3X are now open across Citroen dealerships and through the company’s official website.

Battery-As-A-Service To Lower Entry Price
The biggest update for the e-C3X is the introduction of BaaS, which separates the battery cost from the vehicle purchase price. Offered in partnership with leading financial institutions, the dual-loan financing structure is designed to reduce the upfront ownership cost and make electric mobility more accessible to a wider set of buyers. Citroen claims the e-C3X offers one of the lowest maintenance costs in the industry at around 19 paisa per kilometre.
Exterior Gets More Premium Features
The updated e-C3X receives several styling and equipment upgrades. It now gets full LED lighting with LED headlamps and LED DRLs, new R15 diamond-cut alloy wheels, electrically adjustable and auto-folding ORVMs, front fog lamps, front and rear skid plates, and distinctive X badging.

The SUV-inspired stance continues with 170 mm ground clearance and a compact turning radius of 4.98 metres. Citroen says the vehicle has been designed to balance city usability with highway comfort. Customers can choose from six exterior colour options – Polar White, Steel Grey, Cosmo Blue, Perla Nera Black, Garnet Red and Deep Forest Green.

New Cabin Theme, More Technology
Inside, the e-C3X receives a refreshed cabin finished in a new Electric Blu theme. Higher variants get dual-tone leatherette upholstery, while the dashboard features a matching blue treatment. The feature list includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, wireless phone charger, electrochromic IRVM and Connected Car 2.0 technology with more than 40 connected features. Citroen is also offering an optional JBL audio package along with front and rear dashcams.
Focus On Comfort Remains
Citroen continues to highlight comfort as a key strength of the e-C3X. The EV comes equipped with Citroen Advanced Comfort suspension and Advanced Comfort seats. Combined with the silent electric powertrain, the company claims the vehicle delivers its signature “Flying Carpet Ride” experience.

The e-C3X offers a wheelbase of 2,450 mm and a 315-litre boot. Citroen also highlights its tropicalised air-conditioning system, which is engineered specifically for Indian conditions and is capable of bringing cabin temperatures below 14 degrees Celsius in extreme summer conditions.
Safety Features
The updated e-C3X comes equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, speed-sensitive auto door locks and high-speed alerts. The optional dashcam package also brings predictive safety functions including lane departure warning, front vehicle distance alert and pedestrian/non-motorised vehicle warning systems. Citroen states that the e-C3X uses a structure comprising more than 60 percent high-tensile and ultra-high-tensile steel, while the battery pack is protected by an advanced safety system.

Kumar Priyesh, Director Automotive BrandsStellantis India, said: “With the all-new e?C3X, we are taking a decisive step forward in India’s electric mobility journey. This is not just a product launch, but a meaningful move to make EV ownership more accessible and flexible through our BaaS offering.
