India A will play three red-ball matches in New Zealand before the Test series

The A matches will be played in parallel with the white ball match India’s tour of New Zealandwhich features five T20Is and five ODIs starting from October 22 and continuing until November 15.

The two tests will be held from 19 to 23 November (Wellington) and from 27 November to 1 December (Christchurch). The first match will be held from October 24 to 27 (Lincoln), the second from October 31 to November 3 (Christchurch), and the third from November 7 to 10 (Lincoln).

The ‘A’ Series will also overlap with the domestic season of both countries.

For the Indian players, the clash will be with the Ranji Trophy, which begins on October 11, which means players who make the trip to New Zealand will not be available for their home teams.

Both sides will see the A Series as crucial preparation for the Test series, which is important from a standpoint World Trade Center Ranking.

New Zealand, which is ranked third, is in a much better position than India and will tour Australia in December and January. They also have series against Sri Lanka (home) and Pakistan (away) in this tournament.

India are fifth and will also face current table toppers Australia, but at home, for five Tests in January-February to complete their duties in this WTC tournament.
