Curvv EV Series X Was Introduced Earlier

Tata’s Series X strategy isn’t entirely new. Curvv.ev received its Series X lineup in May 2026, with Accomplished X 55 originally launched at Rs 16.99 lakh, Empowered X 55 at Rs 19.19 lakh and Empowered X 55 DARK at Rs 19.49 lakh. Those prices have subsequently increased by Rs 20,000. Curvv.ev Accomplished X 55 currently costs Rs 17.19 lakh, Empowered X 55 is at Rs 19.39 lakh and Empowered X 55 DARK costs Rs 19.69 lakh.

Festive Season Push For Curvv

Curvv entered the market with the distinction of bringing the SUV-coupe body style to a relatively accessible price point. However, sales data indicates that maintaining its initial momentum has proved challenging.

Curvv, including ICE and EV versions, recorded sales of 18,455 units during the 12-month period from August 2025 to July 2026. This compares to 44,296 units during the corresponding year-ago periods, representing a decline of 58.34%.

Series X therefore arrives as more than a new edition. Tata is effectively reworking the value equationparticularly across the Rs 11 lakh to Rs 15 lakh range, where Pure X, Pure X+ and Creative X+ bring several features that buyers typically associate with higher variants.

With the festive season approaching, the expanded Series X range gives Tata another opportunity to bring Curvv back into consideration among mid-size SUV buyers. Whether the combination of revised pricing and richer equipment can reverse the recent sales trend will become clearer over the coming months.
