We just got a look at what NASA’s Skyfall helicopters will look like in action

SkyFall is scheduled to launch aboard NASA’s Space Reactor-1 Freedom in late 2028. NASA will use what it describes as “Bold spread in the air“To deliver three helicopters equipped with advanced instruments for subsurface and infrared mapping, visible light imagery, temperature monitoring, and much more.

The new image shows the three helicopters scanning the surface of Mars. According to A statement From NASA, the green frequency bands emitted by the antennas depict the subsurface radar data set while the red bands depict the near-infrared image data set of rocks, dirt, and other surfaces.

The antennas you see in the picture took a lot of work to become a reality.
