4 Confirmed New Car launches by September 2026

The next couple of months will be exciting for automotive lovers, as multiple new cars will be launched in our market. Here is a list of top 4 confirmed new car launches with their launch dates in the next 1 month.
Skoda Slavia Facelift
Škoda will finally launch the much-awaited Slavia facelift on August 18, 2026. The mid-life update will come with subtle design changes, upgraded cabin with new features and an 8-speed AT gearbox for the 1.0L TSI engine. The spy images reveal that the sedan will receive new headlamp setup, fog lamp housings and revised bumper along with an upgraded grille with integrated lighting elements.
Inside the cabin, the sedan is likely to get the same dashboard layout. However, it is expected to get a larger 10.25-inch digital driver’s display and new upholstery for seats. Similar to the Kushaq facelift, the Skoda Slavia facelift could also get rear seat massage function, front parking sensors and others. It will continue to be offered with the 115hp, 1.0L and 150hp, 1.5L direct-injection turbo petrol engine. Instead of 6-speed AT, the 1.0L unit will be paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
MG Hector Tomahawk

JSW MG Motor India will launch the much-awaited Hector Tomahawk SUV on August 26. It will be the first model to be based on the brand’s new ADAPT architecture, which is compatible with hybrid, plug-in hybrid, EV and range extenders. The SUV will initially come with an electric powertrain, but a plug-in hybrid version could also join the lineup at a later stage.
The new Hector Tomahawk will be packed with a 69.2kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted electric motor delivering 201hp and 310Nm of torque. It is claimed to offer a range of up to 530km on a single charge.
Kia Sorento

The Korean automaker, Kia will introduce its first hybrid model in the Indian market on September 4, 2026. The company will launch the 3-row Kia Sorentowhich will rival the Toyota Fortuner, Škoda Kodiaq and Jeep Meridian. It is likely to be powered by a 1.6L turbocharged petrol strong hybrid powertrain, paired with an electric motor to deliver smooth city driving and higher efficiency.
The SUV is also reportedly to get a diesel engine, which is likely to be the 2.2L CRDi turbo unit paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The SUV will also get an AWD setup with multiple terrain modes – Snow, Mud and Sand.
Maruti Baleno facelift
Scheduled to be launched on September 5, 2026, the new Maruti Baleno facelift will come with design and interior changes along with a longer list of features. The hatchback will receive revised front fascia, new alloy wheels and an updated taillights. Inside the cabin, the hatchback is likely to get a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It will continue to be powered by an 88bhp, 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine paired to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT unit.
