A loud thud was heard in Orlando, shortly after SpaceX confirmed that the Falcon 9 rocket’s first stage had touched down at Landing Zone 40 in Florida.
SpaceX posted that the first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket has touched down in Landing Zone 40.
Soon after, Orlando One resident also took to the podium, asking, “Wait, did we just hear a sonic boom from the re-entry?”
The timing sparked speculation that the loud sound heard in Orlando was due to the return of the Falcon 9 rocket.
