Hangar 13 and 2K Games have released Man of Honorthe first premium story expansion for the 1900s Sicilian prequel Mafia: The Old Country. The DLC launched August 14, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S for $10, and it bridges the narrative gap to the original Mafia game by exploring the early criminal life of series antagonist Ennio Salieri.

Set during the winter of 1905, Man of Honor follows protagonist Enzo Favara in his early months as a trusted soldier for the Torrisi crime family. The expansion adds two new story chapters built around a delicate assignment: helping Ennio Salieri, the future Don from the original Mafia and Mafia: Definitive Editionwho has recently been released from prison and is looking to settle old scores in the Valle Dorata underworld.
The new missions explore Salieri’s life before his eventual emigration to Lost Heaven, America, showing a younger, scrappier version of the mobster fighting to establish a smuggling operation. The expansion requires the Mafia: The Old Country base game and was first revealed at Summer Game Fest 2026.
Free Ride mode adds Salieri’s Challenges, new Jobs, and fresh collectibles
Beyond the story campaign, Man of Honor expands the game’s non-linear Free Ride sandbox. Players can visit Salieri’s new smuggling warehouse in Porto Almaro to pick up two tiers of endgame content. Salieri’s Challenges raise the difficulty on existing Free Ride encounters, spanning wave-based standoffs, stealth-focused assassinations, circuit races, road sprints, and time trials. Salieri’s Jobs are new open-ended missions that task players with tracking down hidden caches of loot, towing prized turn-of-the-century vehicles back to Salieri’s hideout, or delivering stolen trucks of fragile goods without losing the cargo.
The expansion also adds new collectibles to the Valle Dorata map, including outlaw wanted posters, vehicular stunt jumps, and rival Sulphur trucks that can be sabotaged for revenge. Rewards include five period-accurate hats, among them the Dockside Coppola and Woodsman Fedora, plus three outfits, three vehicles, two horses, and new weapons such as the Rimbalzu throwing knife, which ricochets between targets for stealthy takedowns. Five new Charms round out the reward pool, offering perks tuned just past strict historical realism.
