He added: “Professionals can make a mistake, find excuses for it and continue in fix mode… But doing so based on your personal thinking and input gives you the stick to where we are going or at least the knowledge that the mistake was ours… Admitting a mistake is not a mistake… it shows character… Once it is acknowledged, the burden of not doing its job is better understood, and all the arguments over it end… There is no harm in getting into an argument even when the other party is being extreme, though.” When you know you are right, the best way to end an argument is to say to the other person: “You know you might be right.”
