Maruti Launches Service Package With Up To 10-Year Coverage


Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) has just launched Smart Maintenance Plans for existing Maruti Suzuki car owners across both private and commercial domains. The company is calling them ‘flexible and customer-centric’ maintenance plans which are aimed to uplift vehicle ownership to owners offering them greater peace of mind.
Maruti Smart Maintenance Plan
SMP (Smart Maintenance Plan) from Maruti Suzuki have been launched in the country with multiple benefits for Maruti car owners. These are pre-paid after-sales maintenance plans designed to be flexible to suit buyer’s needs and demands based on their requirement, bringing a certain level of customisability into these maintenance plans.
Apart from the private buyers, Maruti Suzuki SMPs have been offered to commercial buyers too, considering Maruti Suzuki is a preferred choice for fleet operators and commercial buyers. Under SMPs, existing Maruti Suzuki private and commercial owners can choose from a wide range of service configurations based on their specific needs.
Some of these services include Labour-only, Parts and Labour, Commercial Vehicle Minor Services, Customer Demanded Services, Engine Oil and Coolants. Extending these services, we can also see optional Wear and Tear coverages being offered on parts like clutch and brakes, among others.

There are savings with SMP like minimum 10% savings on labour costs, additional savings on parts and consumables and even includes protection against future inflation for services that fall under SMP. It has to be noted that SMP is applicable Pan-India at any Maruti Suzuki authorised workshop irrespective of SMP purchase location.
Buyers can choose between tenure and mileage options too. Some of them are 2 years / 20,000 km, 5 years / 50,000 km and even a long-term 10 years / 1,00,000 km for private vehicles. For commercial vehicles SMP plans can extend till 10 years / 1,60,000 km.
