Sanchita Ugale: Known for shows like Kumkum Bhagya and Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi, Sanchita Ugale died at the age of 22 on June 14, 2026. Police investigation is currently underway and no suicide note has been recovered as of now. Friends and family have made various allegations regarding stress, depression and workplace issues, but no official cause beyond the ongoing probe has been confirmed.

Tunisha Sharma: The Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul actress was found dead on the sets of her show in December 2022. She was 20 years old. Her death led to a high-profile investigation, with allegations and counter-allegations involving co-star Sheezan Khan. Authorities treated the case as suicide, while debates surrounding mental health and relationships dominated headlines.

Vaishali Takkar: Best known for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Sasural Simar Ka, Vaishali Takkar was found dead at her home in Indore at the age of 30. A suicide note was reportedly recovered, and police investigated allegations of harassment involving an acquaintance. Her death shocked the television industry.

Sameer Sharma: The actor, who appeared in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, was found dead in his Mumbai apartment in August 2020. He was 44. Police said he had allegedly died by suicide and no note was found.

Manmeet Grewal: Known for Aadat Se Majboor, Manmeet Grewal died in May 2020 at the age of 32. Reports suggested that financial difficulties during the COVID-19 lockdown had affected him, though no single reason was officially established. His death brought attention to the economic hardships faced by television actors.

Kushal Punjabi: Actor and model Kushal Punjabi, who featured in Ishq Mein Marjawan and Kasautii Zindagii Kay, passed away in 2019 at the age of 42. A note reportedly left behind requested that his assets be distributed among his family. Friends later spoke publicly about his personal struggles.

Pratyusha Banerjee: Pratyusha became a household name after she played the role of Anandi in the popular show Balika Vadhu. However, she died on April 1, 2016, allegedly by suicide. Following her death, her parents filed a complaint against Rahul Singh, her then boyfriend. He was booked under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 504 (intentional insult), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 323 (voluntarily causing hurt).

Nitin Chauhan: Winner of Dadagiri 2 and actor in several TV shows, Nitin Chauhan reportedly died by suicide at the age of 35 in 2024. His sudden death left colleagues and fans shocked and reignited discussions about mental health awareness within the entertainment industry.
