2026 Bajaj Pulsar 220F Launch Price Rs 1.36 L

Since its initial launch in July 2007 as Pulsar 220 DTS-FI, Bajaj Pulsar 220 has been the same motorcycle, where design is concerned. Up until now, it had the same fairing, headlight setup, clip-on handlebar, chunkier exhaust and the same iconic silhouette. This changes now as Bajaj has just updated the Classic Pulsar 220F with a new LED headlight setup with revised fascia.
The launch price of 2026 updated Pulsar 220F with full LED headlights is Rs 1.36 lakh (Ex-sh), which makes it around Rs 8k costlier when compared to its preceding model launched in December 2025 for Rs 1.28 lakh (Ex-sh).

2026 Bajaj Pulsar 220F Launch
If there is a list of bikes that Indian motorcycle enthusiasts love the most, Bajaj Pulsar 220F will be high up that list. This motorcycle is so loved and had so much demand, Bajaj had to re-launch it and bring this legend back from the dead in February 2023. Even with the re-launch, Bajaj did not fettle with its iconic design.
Only the headlights seem to have been changed to full LED setup with auto-on feature. LED turn indicators were introduced in the update launched in December 2025. So, the only real change with the June 2026 facelift is the new LED headlights which lends a new fascia to this legendary motorcycle. It has to be noted that this is the first real design change this motorcycle has received in almost two decades.

There used to be two vertically mounted units that handled low and high beams with the preceding model. Now, both low beam and high beam seem to be integrated into just one projector setup, positioned at the bottom of this revised cluster. DRLs are now LEDs in an eyebrow-like design.
Any other changes?
Apart from the new LED headlight setup and revised pricing, the motorcycle looks like it does not have any other changes. The colour options include Black Gold, Black Cherry Red, Black Ink Blue and Black Copper Beige. The Green Light Copper colour introduced in December 2025 is removed from the palette just like White colour is removed from Pulsar 180.

Features like clip-on handlebars, illuminated switchgear, digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth, smartphone connectivity, notifications and turn-by-turn navigation, single-channel ABS, dual-disc brake setup, split seat, fairing-mounted ORVMs, LED tail lights, Nitrox rear twin shock absorbers and other features continue.
Dual-channel ABS would have been welcome, but is not the case. Engine is the same too, which is not a bad thing. It is an oil-cooled 220cc single-cylinder engine with 20.4 PS and 18.55 Nm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. This engine is fed by a 15L tank and the kerb weight is 160 kg.
